Happy 4th of July!We had a great time. In the morning our neighborhood does a little parade. This year Riley rode his bike instead of in the wagon. Maddie still enjoyed being chauffeured around. Grammie and Grandpa enjoyed the fun with us. Later as it started to get dark, Grammie & Grandpa came back over to light fireworks with us. We started around 9pm and finished around 11pm! As usual we bought a LOT. But it was fun and worth it. Riley had fun picking which one I would light off next. And surprisingly, both Riley & Maddie stayed awake the whole time. We also put in some more new carpet. In the master bath we replaced the carpet with wood flooring (looks great!) and then replaced ALL of the upstairs carpet with a lovely subtle green carpet. It looks sooooo much better than what we had. Feels better too! 2007 will be remembered as the year of remodeling/decorating. It's funny how once you decide to stay somewhere the things you do to change it from a house to a home.
