Roxy & Zoey at the Dog Park

[ more video's ] We took Roxy & Zoey to the Hondo Dog Park in Hillsboro the other day. They LOVED it! This park is really awesome. They have a small dog area, a big dog area, and a winter area - which is all sand no mud - though you don't have to take your dog to any specific area. We took them to the small dog area once, the winter area once when it had been raining a lot so the other area's were muddy, and this time decided to try the big dog area.

THEY LOVED IT!!!

Roxy really went wild, running all over the place. She's normally really shy and stays with us, but this time she decided to go crazy and was all over the place. It was great to see her having fun.

Zoey also had a good time, though she just hung around us and took it all in. Marci did a little run later and they both ran with her. We were there for probably an hour and a half. A beautiful fall day and a lot of fun for the dogs.

Riley & Maddie also had fun with all the dogs. And there's a hill that they had fun rolling down. It was a riot to watch them.

I'm not touching you...

Last night we were in the car coming back from the dog park. I had a headache. Riley was being Riley, which sometimes doesn't mix well with a headache.

Riley: no no no no no no no no no no no (in a singing style to some made up song).

Rich: Riley, can you not do that right now? I've got a headache and that's making it hurt more.

Riley: no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no...

Rich: Riley, I asked you to please stop that.

Riley: no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no...

Rich: Riley! Stop that!

Marci: You have to be specific and tell him WHAT you want him to stop doing.

Rich: Riley, could you please stop saying "no"?

Riley: doh doh doh doh doh doh doh doh doh doh doh doh...

Rich: Riley! I asked you to stop that!

Riley: I'm not saying "no". doh doh doh doh doh doh doh...

Marci: Well, he IS doing what you asked. You know, if you asked your parents they'd say you would have done the same thing.

Rich: Ah, yes, it's the fun variation of "I'm not touching you!" And yes, I would have done the same thing. I'm sure Mom and Dad would be enjoying this payback.
